Two brothers, Lou and Tony Bozzelli left Rosato, Italy to open a sub shop on route 1 near Fort Belvoir.
Their subs quickly became a hit with the troops.

Within a few years, Bozzelli's became a popular destination in the Washington, DC area, especially with our service men and women. The brothers cherished the letters they received from troops sharing how much they missed their favorite subs while deployed. Lou's brother Tony continued operating the business after Lou's passing in 1989

Lou passed away in 1989 and was survived by his wife and four kids.
The Spaceman

Lou's two oldest children, Michael and Mina, yearned to continue their father's legacy. They knew they needed to differentiate themselves in an overcrowded market so they looked to the stars for inspiration and they got the idea for the Spaceman.
